Help Me Bring Our Missing Heroes Home

My name is Robert “Bob” Snuck, and I proudly served in B Troop, 4/7 Cavalry Gun Platoon at Camp Stanley, Korea, in the 1970s. Today, I’m retired in Tennessee — but my commitment to my brothers-in-arms has never left me.

This Giving Tuesday, I’m asking for your support as I take on a new mission with Tours of Duty, a veteran-led nonprofit that searches for and recovers America’s POW/MIA service members still missing from past wars.

In January, I’ve been invited to attend the Forensic Human Remains Recovery Course at Texas State University, one of the leading programs in the country. This training will prepare me to deploy with Tours of Duty on their upcoming 2026 Southeast Asia Recovery Mission, searching for Americans who disappeared more than 50 years ago.

I’m raising $4,500 to cover:

• Tuition and travel for the Texas State forensic course

• Deployment and travel for the 2026 Southeast Asia mission

• Field gear and mission support expenses

Tours of Duty is 100% volunteer-run — no government funding, no paid staff — which means every dollar goes directly toward training and missions.

Why This Matters to Me

I served beside warriors who understood sacrifice. Many of our nation’s heroes never made it home, and thousands of families are still waiting for answers. I want to use my experience and the training I’ll receive to help bring them home at last.
