As some of you may know, I recently reunited with Smiles after a tough crossing from Port Moresby to Australia. The first village in Australia I reached was a place called Saibai. It is one of the top islands in the Torres Strait with lots of history. My time here was hosted for 12 days, with a ‘clan’. Back in the day, there was a lot of effort to regain territory and set up a home, while spiritually growing.
After a few days here, I gave a testimony of my own spiritual voyage, as welcomed by Pastor Marley and family. They expressed a need for internet to continue to educate and teach the lessons they have learned and history they have.
It’s my goal to raise a small amount of money to offer them the service they need to run internet, as requested by them. With the help of my friend Marc in Fiji, we donated the old starlink standard I had recently replaced.
If you would like to help contribute to their service cost, a small goal is set up to which we will be able to wire directly to them on Saibai Island.
