What we do.
Loving Arms provides services, resources, and education to in-need children, youth, and adults in communities in need in Guatemala. We aim to improve the quality of life for the people we serve. We offer hope to families and an ability to enhance their lives.
We have hired staff in Guatemala to run the programs, providing them with income for their families.
We also organize teams from all over Canada and the United States to volunteer their time with Loving Arms, providing expertise in areas such as Health and Dental clinics, building homes for needy families, teaching women and children and providing workshops for the teachers at the School of Hope and many other activities.
What we’ve done.
In 2016, the School of Hope was built and offered a great education for children from Jr. Kindergarten to Grade 7. Healthy foods are distributed to 35 children and seniors each month to supplement their nutritional needs and to stave off malnutrition.
The Loving Arms Co-operatives include developing a profitable
business model with low operating costs, high quality products
and foundationally positive outcomes for all involved. The cooperatives include: -Dairy Cooperative -Cheese Cooperative -Precious Products Cooperative -Chicken Cooperative

How funds will be used.
 | For the next school year, 2024, our goal is to be able to reach more people and include grades 8 and 9, so we hope to have grades from Jr. kindergarten through to grade 9 reaching approximately 250 children! For this reason, we are praying for sufficient funds to build our next classroom at our Loving Arms School of Hope to have the classrooms ready for the grades we plan to have. We know that together with your donation and your big heart, we can achieve this goal!
