Dominican Starfish Foundation would like to help in Higuey after the devastating hurricane.  Though we don't have the resources to provide shelter and fix homes, we can provide food to some of those who have lost everything!  

$10 will feed a family for 3 days

$25 will feed a family for a week

$100 will feed a family for a month or 4 families for a week.  

Whatever amount you can give will be truly appreciated.  

This mom has 6 children.  Her home was one of many that was destroyed. 

$1000 will replace the roof on a home.  

This is Maribel.  She is 15 and cares for her little sister.  Their mother died when Maribel was 12 and she has been the caregiver.  You can see her flooded place in the background of this picture.  

We are building them a small home.  There was $1500 in damage done to the home during the hurricane.  Any help with this repair will be greatly appreciated.
