Your donations will enable this program to continue for another year. Funds raised will go to clean and repair instruments to get them ready for students to use in their band class. A donation of $65 will enable a student to participate in band for a year, paying for instrument cleaning, repairs, and consumables such as reeds and valve oil. Please consider contributing and enabling a middle school student to learn now to play an instrument and to gain a better appreciation for music as part of their education.

We also welcome donations of instruments. Have an instrument in your closet that no longer gets played? Consider giving it a second life, enabling a student to learn to play, and receive a tax donation. You can obtain a donation form and instructions on where you can drop off the instrument here.

Beaverton Band Together is a collaboration between the Beaverton Education Foundation and Beaverton Friends of Music to expand musical opportunities for students in Beaverton public schools. Beaverton Band Together was created because many students in our public schools did not have access to an instrument for use in band class. Since its inception in 2014, the program has collected and repaired more than 500 instruments for student use at elementary, middle and high schools.  Students at all Beaverton middle schools are now able to participate in band regardless of their family’s ability to purchase or rent an instrument. Your donation will help ensure that this program is able to continue.
