Founded in 1946, JUNCTION CITY LOCAL AID is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides food pantry and other relief services to low-income individuals and families in Junction City (and rural Lane County), Oregon. To date, JCLA is the only nonprofit direct service provider of food pantry and related services in the area.
In 2019, we provided food pantry and related direct services to over 250 households and 700 individuals per month. On average, we provide 2,500 - 5,000 lbs. of healthy food per month. We also serve over 25% of the JC school district, where 60% of students receive free/reduced lunches.
In order to continue these relief services and meet growing demand in 2020, JCLA's dedicated staff and volunteer Board need your support! This Giving Christmas, we're $13,000 short of our charitable giving budget. Please help to meet our $3,500 online donor drive goal by making a tax-deductible donation today!
Whether you can donate $10 or $500, your donation will directly fund day-to-day food pantry operations, supplies, ongoing training for our skilled 60+ pantry volunteers, and our 3 dedicated staff. - A $100 donation provides a 3-5 day emergency food supply for 8-10 people.
- A $250+ donation provides a 3-5 emergency food supply for 10 families.
