August 2019 is predicted to be the peak of the dry season in 28 provinces in Indonesia. At least 48 million people are threatened by drought in the dry season this year. Seven provinces are alerted for drought emergency, including Banten, West Java, Central of Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, West Nusa Tenggara, and East Nusa Tenggara. (Source: BNPB, July 2019)

Water is the source of life so that no human can survive without. The usage of water is closely related to the quality of health. The lower the water usage, the higher the risk of someone affected by health problems.

Global Wakaf

Global Wakaf is an institution of waqf management assets from the community to build the prosperous life of the people who are entitled to receive aids through empowering programs. 
Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) along with Global Wakaf is present to provide easy access to clean water in the form of the provision of wells and their facilitation to supply water that is feasible for consumption and enable them to support the lives of less privileged families in Indonesia. 
Waqf wells aim to overcome difficulties in accessing clean water due to drought, water-polluting (not suitable for consumption), distant water sources, and other problems that have caused a clean water crisis in Indonesia.
