Tragically, on the 9th July 2014, Samuel Minja - known to many as one of the more exceptional guides working with Team Kilimanjaro to climb Africa's highest peak in his beloved Tanzania - was killed in a car accident.

Samuel was an invaluable member of the groups he climbed with, and a geniune, kind and caring person who also had a wonderful sense of humour. Samuel was not a rich man, and his death has devasted his family - both emotionally, and financially.

In light of his remarkable contribution to many climbs, including our own with Craft Aid UK in September 2013, we are taking a collection in the hope that our donations in some small way will help his family get through this terrible time.

His employers, Team Kilimanjaro, have kindly offered to ensure this collection goes straight to his family so please, if Samuel helped you when you were struggling on the slopes of Kili, consider donating through this page to help his relatives through their most diffcult time.

Thank you.
