A little less than a year ago I adopted  my beautiful JoJo. Giving her a loving home after all the abuse she was previously put through was not only a priceless gift for her but an amazing gift for myself. Unfortunately the abuse she had gone through the 3 years of her life affected her emotionally. She has struggled immensely with separation anxiety. Chewing shoes, eating furniture and breaking out of every kennel no matter how tough they may be are just a few examples. I even tried zip tying every side and corner of the kennels and she would hurt herself to the point of needing vet care just to break out. It made me so sad for her more than anything knowing her anxiety was that intense from such horrible abuse in the past. With lots of love, time, money and effort by not only myself but with the help of my amazing friend/roommate, Brittany, Jo has gotten so much better.  About 6 months ago I took her to the vet to get her a simple physical. Turns out the physical was much more complicated than expected. I think one of those many times she broke out of her kennel, she broke her tooth and it has become a serious health issue. The doctor told me it needed to be removed as soon as possible and then handed me an estimate to remove it. The estimate was over $1000.00. This is not a simple procedure, they have to knock her out for the surgery due to it being her top right canine which have the deepest roots. Everyday her tooth looks worse and worse. I would have taken care of this at that moment she gave me the estimate if I had the funds to do so. I am finally coming to the realization that if I don't let go of pride and  ask for help it could become very very serious problem for her health. As you can see in the picture it is becoming extremely ugly and infected. I love her and when i adopted her, after everything she was put through, I promised to keep her safe and healthy. I dont know what I would do if any harm came to her. If you can help my Jo in any way, I would be forever grateful and so would she. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Your thoughts and prayers are just as appreciated if not more. Feel free to share as well.

Lots of love , Bekah and JoJo
