Hello, I am a 20 year old college student in need of a service seizure-alert Dog. I have epilepsy with petit mal and grand mal seizures. Petit mals are staring spells where I basically phase out because of a disturbance in brain function. Grand mal is where I lose consciousness, though I do not have muscle contractions. I also have schizophrenia and Tourette’s syndrome. I have found the perfect place to get my dog. It is called Noelle’s Dogs Four Hope ( Their dogs can recognize and alert you to an oncoming seizure an hour ahead of time. I need a hypoallergenic dog (my mother is allergic), but fortunately, Noelle's has poodles. The dog costs 2,000 dollars. This is difficult for me because, my mother and I are on Social Security Insurance (SSI). Our income is limited. This is why I need help. I’m hoping someone with a good heart will help me. Any amount will help. I have an extremely kind and loving family and am very grateful for all the gifts I have been given. Right now, though, I’m in a tough spot. My mother has Parkinson’s, and with my seizures, I’m afraid to get on a bus by myself. If I have a seizure on the bus, I don’t know where I would end up. That's my greatest fear. I can provide a good home for my service dog. I live in a mobile home, in a very nice park that has an open field where I can walk my dog. I love animals, and love taking care of then. The dog would be well cared for and support me so I don't have to let epilepsy take over my life. Now all I need is the money for my puppy that can change my life!

Thanks for your help and support.
