Early yesterday morning December 17th, my family and I came home to pick up a couple of items, then head back to my husbands families home where we had been staying since it was much warmer there then it was in our apt which was colder inside then out.

As soon as I walked through the door I noticed every door in the apartment was open every container opened and all of our things on the floor. Not one thing wasn't touched. They took everything, my childrens toys and some of Kai's birthday gifts, electronics, I had over 40 vintage cameras all gone except for 3. Our clothes thrown all about, all jewelry, money we were saving for a new apartment, and so much more. Our window which they got in threw wide open.

I stood there in shock. We have been violated and robbed of more then just our materialistic items. I called my husband over and we both got emotional, we have already been going through a tough year and this is just icing on the cake for us.

The cops came, took prints and collected our facts and left.

Thats it we thought, years of collecting and saving and buying just gone and nothing we can do about it. What can we do? Track them down and get our things back. The odds of that happening is slim to none.

My husband and I had time to think and who ever did this we hope they have a great christmas, we hope they needed it more then we did, we are hurt regardless but we are safe, we have family and friends and when we move and get back on our feet we will be making new memories together saving for bigger and better things. We re staying positive and hoping for the best, for now we work with what we have like we always have.

I'm to proud to ask for help majority of the time but when I do it's because I really need it and because I have no where else to turn to.

A dear friend suggested my family do this for support and I'm not asking for much but for prayers, positive energy sent our way and if by chance you want to donate anything feel free to, but be thankful most of all for what you have and that should be your family.

Thank you for your support

we need it at this time of the year<3
