Ragdoll Rescue and Rehome

is a ‘not for profit’ charity based in Stourbridge, UK, which rescues and rehomes Ragdoll cats that need new, forever homes due to a change in their owners circumstances, and through no fault of their own.

Sometimes the ‘Raggies’ cannot be rehomed because of age and/or on-going medical conditions, and of course because they come with little or no history, obtaining insurance is impossible.

With this is mind Ragdoll Rescue and Rehome (which is run by only 2 people, Helen and Allan Hadley), has to pay the all too frequent vets bills.

The Ragdolls that can’t be rehomed live with Helen and Allan in their home as permanent foster cats, and they often have to stay on medication for the rest of their lives; all of which has to be paid for.

Currently one of the permanent foster cats ‘Raffles’ (Raffy) is very sick with a yet undiagnosed liver complaint; this handsome boy is really very poorly. Currently the vet’s bill is approximately £800 and is likely to rise as Helen and Allan do everything they can to save the life of this beautiful cat who at only 6 years of age has had a tough old life.  As you will see from the picture he has a deformed ear - he had an oral haematoma previously.

With Christmas coming up, wouldn’t it be lovely if we could all donate just £1 – the cost of posting a Christmas card, to help make life a little easier for Raffy and this wonderful charity?

Of course you are welcome to donate more if you can afford it, but £1 is probably within everyone’s budget and would make a huge difference to the on-going care of these beautiful Ragdoll cats.

Please click here to view our website and the Ragdolls we currently have in our care - some are still looking for their 'forever' home.

We really need and appreciate any help you can give.
