DONATIONS 100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE Jimmu, Miku, Sora, Tarou, 4 four 12wk old Aussie/Border Collie siblings, have had to fight for survival from the day they were born. Now Jimmu, Miku, & Sora are facing the toughest battle of their young lives, with their brother Tarou so far being the only one not showing and symptoms remaining healthy in quarantine. Their mother was a beautiful and loving Aussie girl, their father an intelligent and strong Border Collie, and they were born into this world as a means to help a very poor family earn enough money to feed themselves and provide for their basic daily living expenses. As weeks went by, it became clear that the pups would not be the financial boost the family was hoping for, and soon feeding them became more than the family could afford. Without money to provide them with basic food, shelter, and medical care, they called the county AC in their area, and in the blink of an eye, this young family lost their parents and the comfort of the only home they had ever known. That’s when the AC picked up the phone and made a desperate call for help to Furry K9 Animal Rescue, a local 501c3 rescue known for being an advocate for the underdog, believing that every animal deserves a second chance, every animal’s life has value, and every animal’s life is worth fighting for, answered the call without hesitation (or much room to spare), and stepped up to welcome these pups as the newest members of the Furry K9 Animal Rescue Family. Due to their young age, lack of veterinarian care, and the less than ideal living situation they had just come from, all of the pups were placed in isolation as a precautionary measure (standard in circumstances like this). Here they would be carefully monitored and cared for, until all four could be given a clean bill of heath by the rescue’s trusted veterinarian. Soon after their arrival, Jimmu started to show signs of being sick and was taken to the vet immediately. His sister Miku soon followed, and both were listed in critical condition shortly after they arrived. The sudden and severe onset of their symptoms, along with the circumstances that brought them to Furry K9 Rescue, seemed to indicate that exposure to the dreaded Parvo virus, may be the final battle these innocent pups would face and fight. Suspicions were confirmed when the Parvo tests came back positive, and it was a very real possibility that Jimmu and Miku, would succumb to this killer and not make it through the night. With the other 2 pups in isolation and on hourly watch, Jena with Furry K9 Rescue began a long night of waiting, worrying, and praying for these beautiful lives to be spared. This is a family of fighters, a family of survivors, a family that understands nothing in life comes easy, and that “luck” is really just another word for sharp thinking and hard work. This is a family who defies the odds, and Jimmu and Miku are truly shining examples of that as they continue their battle of survival against the deadly Parvo virus that threatens their lives. Sora was rushed to the vet with general lethargic symptoms, and immediately began round the clock care with her Parvo test also showing as positive. Jimmu, Miku, and Sora are currently in critical condition at the vet, with Tarou being the only sibling pup to have somehow managed to ward off this stealth and complicated killer, at least so far. The cost of round the clock medical care for pups with Parvo is not an expense that Furry K9 Rescue was prepared for, and your donations are desperately needed if these pups are to continue getting round the clock life saving care, and for Furry K9 Rescue to continue being a voice for the abandoned, abused, and sick, animals living in rural Southern Idaho, animals who without Furry K9, would have no one in this world speaking up on their behalf. All donations are 100% tax deductible. All pups are being treated at Animal Medical Clinic in Heyburn, Idaho, which is requesting donations or updates not be done via direct phone calls to the office due to the very limited staffing of this small town clinic. Please email ~nataliefurryk9rescue@outlook.com~ if you have ANY questions or concerns. ~Never claim “rescue” unless you are willing to follow through until the very end…whatever that end may be.
