Sherry Sawicki O'Brien fought against glioblastoma for about 17 months. Sadly the cancer stole this wonderful person from our world. Her family, Ray - Matt - Erin - Kerry, supported her and watched her struggles. They need to know how much we all care.
Sherry Sawicki O'Brien fough glioblastoma for about 17 months. On 12/30/12 her stuggles ended and the world lost a beautiful person. Her family, Ray - Matt - Erin - Kerry, supported her and watched her struggles throughout this ordeal. This fund is established by Sherry's Phi Mu sisters to make sure that Erin and Kerry are able to have the wonderful college experience that their mother did (Matt has already graduated). These will be funds that support actvities like sororities and spring break trips. Of course if the girls need the money for tuition and books those will be acceptable uses also, but anyone who remembers our days at NWMSU will know what Sherry wants her girls to experience.

We are holding a major fundraising event in Kansas City, MO on Februrary 10, 2013 at Margarita's on Southwest Boulevard from:200-4:00 and all are welcome, but we realize that not everyone who would like to donate is able to attend that event. If you are interested in attending the Fundraiser, please email and we will make sure you can obtain tickets. Our goal of $20,000 includes what we expect to reach through this event and this page.

An account called Sherry's Legacy (Also called Sherry O'Brien Foundation) has been set up at U.S. Bank and donations can be walked into any branch nationwide. If that is not possible - We created this page so that others who have been touched by Sherry could also donate. Any amount donated will make a statement that your thoughts and prayers are with Sherry and her family.
