On 21 June 2013, I will be one of only 300 participants in the Spartan Death Race, a 24-48 hour hurdle and challenge-driven race involving 15-20 grueling mental and physical challenges throughout a 40-mile course. Only 10-15% of entrants are expected to finish the race, which has been billed as the most demanding race in the world. For more information on the race check out their website, www.youmaydie.com.
Help me use this ultimate challenge to raise money for children's healthcare. Turn my suffering into an opportunity to bring them and their families relief and peace of mind. All funds raised beyond the cost of participating in the race (registration, transportation, lodging) will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network. CMN has been funding children's hospitals around the country since 1983 and my goal is to donate at least $5,000 to this worthy cause so children can continue to receive life saving medical treatment.
