11/13/12 Madison became unconscious at school today and had to be air evaced to Phx Children's Hospital where she had brain surgery after finding out she had a stroke and bleeding in her brain. She has now been transferred for St. Joe's Medical Center where she is undergoing her 2nd brain surgery. Prayers and any help for this family who is going through the scariest thing of their lives would be appreciated! <3

11/14/12 UPDATE: Madison's surgery was successful! they were able to stop the bleeding in her brain. Madison also has opened those beautiful eyes of hers and asked for mommy! Thank you Lord for answering
our prayers!!! She is out of the woods but still has a long road to recovery. Thank you for all your support and please keep the positive thoughts and prayers coming for Princess Madison and her family!

11/15/12 ANOTHER UPDATE: here are the latests posts from Katelyn:

Madison is resting which is much needed to help with the swelling around the brain... There will be a future surgery for sure the Neurologist informed us, about six months out to see how the brain is healing from yesterday's neurosurgery. He is pleased with the outcome and said, " she is doing better than my expectations ".... She is a strong girl and doing just wonderful so far. She is off the vent and breathing on her own, the NG tube was also d/c'd. Today Madi had a few ice chips but her tummy couldn't handle it yet, we will try again tomorrow. I asked her if I could read her a book and she shook her head no, still my lil stinker after so much! Funny how someone so small can be the toughest person I know. As I stated in an earlier post my faith was shaken to the core and knocked me to my knees... This now made me realize it didn't only happen to me that day, it happened to my family. So now I am ready to stand back up but not alone but with my family, friends and many I don't even know. I have seen the good in people in more ways than I ever thought possible and I am humbled and thankful, friends became family and strangers became friends. But for now my baby girl needs her rest and so I will keep posting as the positive news flows in. PS... Her PICU nurse said she is truly a miracle she has blown everyone away with her recovery! For this I want to thank everyone who lifted her and all the medical staff up to the Lord. I believe in the power of prayer more than anything now so please keep praying for Princess Madison and let's bring my miracle baby home safely! God Bless each and everyone of you, from the bottom of my humbled heart thank you.

The MD who saved my babies life just came to see her.... He is very pleased with her progress, asked the nurse to get her up to a chair today and maybe even d/c her foley catheter.... I'm on cloud 9,000 and jumping with joy!!! Thank you Jesus, one step closer to bringing home Princess Madison....

WE LOVE YOU MADISON! <3
