Lifting Up Vegas Mobile Outreach Cart Project

Lifting Up Vegas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, and hardship throughout Southern Nevada. What began as a simple mission to spread kindness and provide support has grown into a community effort that regularly delivers meals, hygiene supplies, encouragement, and resources to those who need them most.

Currently, our volunteers conduct outreach multiple times each month throughout the Las Vegas Valley, including parks and areas where individuals experiencing homelessness gather. We provide food, water, hygiene kits, socks, clothing, and most importantly, human connection. Every person we serve is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

As our outreach continues to grow, we are seeking support to purchase a mobile food cart, custom outreach tent, branded umbrella, equipment, and the necessary permits, licensing, and insurance needed to expand our services. This mobile outreach unit will allow us to safely prepare and serve hot meals directly to those in need while creating a welcoming space where individuals can access resources, encouragement, and support.

A mobile food cart will help us reach more people, operate more efficiently, and provide nutritious hot meals year-round. For many of the individuals we serve, a hot meal is more than food—it is a reminder that someone cares and that they have not been forgotten.

Our vision is to create a recognizable Lifting Up Vegas outreach station that serves as a beacon of hope throughout our community. The custom tent and cart will allow volunteers to distribute meals, hygiene supplies, bottled water, positive affirmations, and information about available community resources.

Funds raised will be used for:

• Mobile food cart purchase

• Custom cart wrap and branding

• Branded outreach tent and umbrella

• Equipment and serving supplies

• Licensing and permits

• Insurance coverage

• Initial food and outreach inventory

Every donation, no matter the size, helps us move closer to providing more hot meals, reaching more individuals, and continuing our mission of lifting up our community one person at a time.
