My family and I are going through a very tough time, as I imagine many are. It all started when my fiance's father passed away and we had to rent out our home to go be with her family in Georgia. Since then we had to fight to keep our home, we ended up spending the last of our savings, maxing out credit cards and borrowing money to evict the tenants that destroyed our home. $30,000 in repairs. We both lost our jobs shortly after this, bc our work was tired of us having to deal with our tenants. It has all been down hill from there. Even though all of this is continually happening, we still managed to find time to save animals. We now have seven dogs, two cats, two birds, and two chickens. We have fought tooth and nail to keep our fur kids fed even though we can barely feed ourselves. We have bounced checks keeping our electricity and water turned on. Now, our suv (what we tote our fur kids in) has broken, we have $1200 in repairs between the pulleys, brakes and rotors, and power steering pump. My fiance is in transition to her new job, and we just keep falling deeper and deeper in the hole. I am working over time, and every time we get ahead, something ALWAYS happens. Our central air unit has fried twice in two months, now our car, and now our home is in jeopardy of foreclosure. We have called the bank and they need us to catch up on the past due amount in order to arrange payment arrangements for future payments. We are $1800 behind in mortgage payments for the past two months. Our car repairs are $1200. We are heading down the road to no electricity or water again, and home less living in a car that is broken. I never ask for help, but the thought of losing my fur babies scares me so much. I am praying for a miracle. If you need to see proof on mortgage and car repairs and utilities, just ask. I know it's a long shot but I have until September 31st to get the mortgage caught up. We have tried applying for the hardest hit and do not qualify. We have gone to 211 United way and caring centers in our area, plus the human resources center, and cannot get funding. I have no idea why. I'm guessing because I do not have kids, but we have fur kids and we cannot lose them or the only thing we have left, this house. I appreciate you reading and hope you find it in your heart to help my family during this tough time.
