In June, I have the opportunity to travel to El Salvador with Spinal Missions to bring Chiropractic to the people of San Salvador. We will have the opportunity to see and provide care to thousands of people.

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to serve on a Mission but never really knew what my role should be.  I never felt that I knew the Bible well enough to guide people in their journey to know God, even though God is very much in my heart.  I have prayed that our Lord would guide me to a Mission where he could use me, a Mission where I could serve his people.  When I first heard about the International Chiropractic Mission Trips, I knew that this was the place where God wanted me to serve but it wasn’t until recently that his voice became loud and persistent.

This summer, I have been accepted to serve on a Mission Trip to San Salvador.  In June, I will be traveling with 40 other Chiropractic students from all over the United States.  While in San Salvador, we will serve thousands of people living in poverty who have little to no healthcare.  We will serve alongside Doctors of Chiropractic as well as other medical professions who have been drawn to serve these people.

I am a seventh quarter Chiropractic student and I have been working hard to refine my skills so that I may serve these people with a high level of care.  I do believe that Chiropractic Care will have a huge impact in their health and wellbeing.  By eliminating the interference that a subluxation can impose on the Nervous System, we will allow the body to heal itself from the inside-out.  Most of these people will have long term interference, which means many will come to us with chronic issues.   We will have the opportunity to adjust and educate these people.  With future care they have the opportunity to decrease symptomology or a disease state which may have already set in.  The lead doctor on this mission has several offices within San Salvador and can work with people needing future care, using funds raised by participants on this mission trip.

The cost of this trip is approximately $2500; this includes airfare, hotel, meals, and transportation to and from site, passport and any other unforeseen incidentals.  I am asking for any donation that you feel you can give.  Please pray about this donation and give what you can.  I appreciate you all and look forward to telling you about this amazing experience when I return.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!!

“I wish nothing in return, only the chance to GIVE.  I give with the only thing I have, LOVE.  And I love all by removing that which interferes with 100% LIFE.  I do not look    to others for direction, I look within.  I am a perfect expression of God living 24 hours each day for others. ”                                                        -B.J. Palmer, D.C., Ph.C.
