Jun Ricardo is a father, grandfather, husband, uncle, friend, and an icon of patience and love. He's always there to give you an extra boost even when he doesn't have any to give at that given moment. He's also just a simple man and just lives a simple life.

At the age of 67, he is as healthy as one could be. No need for intense medication, always passed check ups with flying colors. Not until last weekend, he grew immensely weak and frail. All of a sudden, he was bleeding internally. His immune system was breaking down and gave way to infections. He was rushed to the ER.

Almost a week has passed. The doctors still have no specific diagnosis as to what is causing him to break down. Symptoms are all over the place. They cannot pinpoint if he has a rare breed of Leukemia or has a rare case of Factor IX or XI Deficiency. Currently, he is in the ICU at Perpetual Succour Hospital. Tests are being conducted. Lab work being conducted. Blood transfusion is buying him time.

This is obviously a long and enduring challenge in our family. We are preparing for a long battle with this unverified sickness. We need your help. Jun Ricardo has always had this mentality to never ask for help. This selfless man just operated that way. This time though, we are asking you to help him.

Pride aside, we are pleading for donations in cash and in blood. Any amount will do to help with his ICU expenses and blood transfusion requirements.

Thank you for hearing us out.

Forever in your debt,

The Ricardo Family & Close Friends
