Please help bring New Life to New Life. We have outgrown our very vintage & modest building & are in the process of making many needed improvements. Your support would be a great blessing in helping us to achieve our goal in expanding our walls in order to continue to bring God’s plan of salvation to many more people seeking the love & comfort that only Jesus can give.

Thank you very much for helping financially & most of all with continued prayers for a successful renovation.

Our Story…

On Thursday, September 6, 2001 the church in Reading, PA officially began. My wife, my two children and 4 baptized members opened the church. We held our first service and concurrent services in the home of Sis. Noemi Montano. We used the first floor of her home until we moved to a storefront building located at 533 Elm Street, six months later.

We moved into 533 Elm Street on March 29, 2002 with much joy and anticipation. Pastor

Ismael Rivera Sr prayed over the building and was there for the signing of our first lease. After a year of difficulties with the neighborhood we asked the Lord to guide us to a new location. We began to seek God in March 2003 and by the following month we had a written contract signed to purchase our current location.

After much opposition, we purchased our building on September 18, 2003. Much work was needed to renovate the building from its layout as a doctor’s office to a church layout. With the Lord’s help and assistance of the brothers and sisters we dedicated the building to the Lord on September 19, 2004.  On this date, we officially became New Life Apostolic Church.

The Lord has been so faithful. We have truly seen the hand of God. Lives have been changed, the addicts delivered, marriages restored and many sick healed.

The church and its music are very diverse. We have a unique culture at New Life.  Our congregation consists of Caucasians, Puerto Ricans, African Americans, Dominicans, Mexicans and Africans but we have come together as one.

What’s to come?  Great and mighty things.  I BELIEVE that the Lord will continue to bless us for the years to come as we continue to follow our mission which is to...

EXALT CHRIST   •   EQUIP THE CHURCH   •  EVANGELIZE THE WORLD

Let us continue to labor, for our labor is not in vain.  My prayer nearly 13 years ago is still my prayer today, “Lord, that everything we do bring Glory to your Name!” There is a City to be won for Jesus Christ and we can do it in Jesus Name.. one soul at a time!  Together we can!
