GREENCASTLE, Pa. — A Greencastle man was listed in serious condition Monday after he was struck in the face by a fence board during a single-vehicle accident early Sunday on Worleytown Road in Antrim Township.
Timothy Andrew Bremmer Jr., 21, was flown to York (Pa.) Hospital following the accident, which occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday in the 11300 block of Worleytown Road, according to a news release from Pennsylvania State Police.
A hospital spokeswoman said Monday that Bremmer was listed in serious condition.
Bremmer was driving a 1996 Honda Accord south on Worleytown Road when he failed to negotiate a right-hand curve, trooper said.
The car left the roadway and struck a fence, causing several boards to pass through the windshield, police said. One of the boards struck Bremmer in the face.
The car then struck a tree before it crashed through two more fences and came to rest, the release said.
Bremmer suffered major injuries to his head and face, troopers said
