"My name is Alan Palmer. I have always been a hard worker but an unforeseen circumstance landed me unemployed and homeless. After a lot of work I got back on my feet. Knowing what it’s like to lose everything, I have vowed I would spend my life helping those in need and pay it forward – Not by simply giving, but finding and providing resources to help others get back on their feet. That’s what this show is all about. May we help you?"

The first episode we are filming is the private home of Miss Rita Watkins. Rita is a recovering alcoholic who has been out of the work force for the past fifteen years taking care of her ailing mother and her son, Chris. With her mother’s recent passing it is time to get back to work. Rita has many demonds that are haunting her including being raped and being burried alive. She has been living without a stove or kitchen sink and therefore has no means of fixing meals for her son. Living on assistance does not afford her the luxury of fixing her old stove or sink. “May We Help You” will be replacing her old appliances, painting the walls, retiling her kitchen floors and redoing her front screen door. We are also bringing in a group of professional hair and makeup consultants to give her that extra boost of confidence she desperately needs. These are simple repairs but the big thing we are providing is an implant in her arm to take away the cravings of alcohol and therapy to help ease some of her past which is causing her to drink. The one thing we ask in return is for her to play it forward any way she can. The final question we have for you, “Can you help us help them?” We have already reached close to $75,00 in donations by our corporate sponsors include Sears, Home Depot, Habitat For Humanity, Dunn Edwards Paint, Fresh Start Private, George's Cuts, Trader Joe's and HOPEFULLY YOU. This is a win win for everybody involved with this life changing experience.
