We need your help at HELP! Gogegic Taconite LLC proposes to build the world's largest Open Pit Iron Ore Mine upstream from wild rice beds and walleye spawning grounds of the Bad River Ojibwe Reservation.

IndianCountyTV.com is editing several "LIVE from the Penokees"  video programs and you can help fund a LIVEstream program from the Penokee Mountain Heritage Park and the HELP Village by making a contribution today.

The proposal by Gogebic Taconite (GTAC) threatens several hundred thousand acres of land, and watershed that the Ojibwe Nation reserved for hunting, fishing and gathering of foods and medicines including wild rice beds in the Kakagon Sloughs on Lake Superior. I,n 2013 GTac brought in a hired militia from Arizona to intimidate people who had been "watching" their drilling and other activities that damaged the environment.

The HELP Village and treaty harvesters are helping research and utilize the rich resources that exist and can help create jobs thru sustainability rather then extracting the asbestos and pyrite laden rocks near the pristine watershed of Lake Superior.

Thank you for your assistance.
