Kiwi was rescued by PAWS Adoption Center from Cleveland. His was found to have a severe heart worm condition which is completely curable. He has had 2 treatments over 3 months which is very expensive. He ha 8 weeks left of activity restrictions.
Kiwi was discovered to be heart worm positive after PAWS Adoption Center rescued him from Cleveland Animal Control. His condition is worse than anticipated. He will have to receive 2-3 Immiticide injections over 4-6 weeks which will more than double his bill. PAWS is a small, no-kill shelter surviving on private donations. Kiwi is so sweet & deserves a chance to be someone's wonderful boy. Any donation for Kiwi would be a great help & is tax deductible. And if you can't donate please keep Kiwi in your prayers. He would have been euthanized at most shelters when found positive for heart worm-through no fault of his own! Please help PAWS help more homeless animals by getting Kiwi well & adopted soon! Thanks so much for your support!
