Most of my friends know I came to Orlando back in 2006 to help care for my mother. In 2010 I was stricken with advanced Ulcerative Colitis and had two major surgeries which resulted in removal of my large intestine. I continued to stay with my mom taking care of her between hospital visits. My mom passed away in February of this year. She had signed her house over to her son several years back and he put a lot of money into keeping a roof over her head. Now that she's gone, I need to remove myself from this house so he can sell it.
That being said, I live on SSI amounting to approx $700 a month--bills for this house have caused what savings I had to be depleted pretty quickly. I make jewelry and could go back to selling it at festivals and such if I had a small class C Motor Home. My rusted 79 Mustang just isn't gonna cut it --just too small. My plan is to revamp an old Class C so I can have room to sleep, for my music stuff and jewelry stuff so that I will not find myself with noplace to stay.

A recent procedure with biopsy showed a problem in my left lung which the pulmonologist now believes is just a bacterial infection and has placed me on some heavy duty meds for the next 10 days to see if we can knock this out. Hopefully it will work and then I can get out of this place, with God's grace and a little help from my friends.

The first motorhome I found someone got before I could even see it. I've found another one in Eustis FL that REALLY looks promising and have an appointment to view it on Sunday. They want $1000 because the air conditioner isn't working quite right BUT the inside is NICE, and the man says the engine and trannie are strong. Tires OK and best part--ITs a 1976 FORD which means normal folks can work on it and parts are cheaper.

I do NOT have $1000 yet--right now I have $375 and a check for $200 which is dated August 1st from a retired vet friend of mine. The people who have it have run a business in Lake Co for over 20 yrs so I don't see them skipping town with a deposit...BUT the owner said he was willing to wheel and deal a little on the price due to the AC issue --

PLEASE if you can donate, do it NOW -- the more money I can present to them the better chance I have of getting it at a discounted rate!!! Thanks all of you!
