Lulu is a 20 month old Welsh Pembroke Corgi who recently had a surgical procedure called a T.B.L.O. (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy). She has a torn ACL and outward lateral patella luxation.
Happy Monday, Pals! It's time to introduce an adorable new Helping Paws client. If you direct your attention to the right sidebar, you'll see pictures of the beautiful Ms. Lulu! Here is Lulu's story in the words of Corgi Mom Claire:

"We just found out that our 20 month old Welsh Pembroke Corgi named LuLu will need a surgical procedure called a T.B.L.O. (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy). She has a torn ACL and outward lateral patella luxation. Her surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday. Her visit today was $306, but that's nothing for what is to come. The surgery is estimated between $3600-3800. Then she needs two followup special x-rays that total $500. So after today's cost we are looking at a future bill between $4100-4300. We are looking for any financial assistance we can get to help us pay this extraordinary vet bill. We love our Lulu and will do anything for her. We don't have human children, but our two Pembrokes are our kids!!!"

Lulu recently had the surgery she needed to repair her knee... and the surgery cost was less than we expected. The final total, including the followup x-rays, will be $3,985 and not $4,300!! Even so, this bill weighs heavily on Lulu and her family. Please share her story and help me spread the word for this pretty girl so we can get that bill paid!
