In 2011, a friend taught me how to overcome my fear, and convinced me to run my first obstacle race. 4 months later, breast cancer took her. I now run races to fight back.
In 2011, a friend taught me how to overcome my fear, and convinced me to run my first obstacle race. 4 months later, breast cancer took her. Now, I run races to fight back.

This year, 2013, I will be running 14+ obstacle course races to raise money for breast cancer research to honor the woman that showed me how to race. These races will range from as little as 3.1 miles (5k) to 15.4 miles (24.8k), and all of them are going to be torture. The obstacles range from barbed wire, 10 foot walls, electricity, fire, 25 foot drops, and lots and lots of mud. I am going to be shocked, scratched, scraped, beaten, battered, bruised, and maybe burned, so please consider donating for the cause. Every penny of what I raise is going to go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
