Dorian had been having headache's for a while but nothing to be concerned about until September 30th. His head began to hurt followed by nausea and vomiting. Tandie took him to the doctor on Monday October1st. The doctor order an MRI at Tandie's request which was scheduled for Tuesday Morning the 2nd. On Tuesday they went to the hospital in KM and performed the MRI. Tandie and Dorian went home waiting for the results only to have the hospital contact her and request her to return immediately. When she arrived they showed her the MRI which clearly showed a huge mass in his brain. He was rushed to Levine's Children Hospital @ CMC Charlotte. 7:30 pm ish the doctor came in and informed us that he would need brain surgery to remove the tumor from his brain. Surgery was scheduled for Wednesday morning October 3rd. Surgery was a success however they could not remove it all because it was attached to his brain stem which was too risky for them to touch. Upon another MRI on Thursday morning they informed us that he would need a 2nd surgery because there was a section of his Spinal cord that was pinched so the flow of Spinal fluid was not flowing correctly. 2nd surgery was scheduled for Monday the 8th. That Surgery was a complete success and removed the pinch. Now Dorian has a lot to overcome. He will be in the hospital for a while doing physical therapy to regain what he has lost. He is scared and wants his mother ALL the time. Please help keep her my his side as long as possible. Please give. Thank you and God bless!!!
