The Stoller Middle School PE and Health Department are raising money for pickleball equipment. Pickleball offers a Covid-safe and engaging unit activity to our students. We think that it will be exciting for our students to actually hold a real piece of equipment in their hands when they return to school. These items will help to enhance their learning of new physical skills, being able to play in a lower intensity level game safely in their own space, while also encouraging positive social-emotional experiences. This versatile activity allows students to play outside as well as inside a gym space offering much flexibility. It is valuable for students to experience fun, positive and healthy social experiences upon their return to school.

We have 3 classes of PE/health that occur at the same time. Our school is large and all students will rotate through being able to use the equipment. The idea is that this equipment will accommodate 1-2 hybrid classes at the same time.

$19 = 1 set of paddles
(24 sets needed = $449)

$45 = 1 dozen pickleballs
(4 dozen pickleballs needed = $179)

$83 = 1/3 of a portable net
$249 = 1 full net
(3 paddle pro elite portable nets needed = $747)
This system allows us to put up nets anywhere outside.
