On May 10th 2010 - Richard took Ellie to A&E in Salisbury and demanded a blood test, as her GP was rubbish and did not think she needed one! That is the day we found out she had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) After 2 and a quarter years of treatment on July 12th 2012 Ellie was given the ALL CLEAR. September 10th 2013 - Ellie's Parents had not been happy with Ellie over the weekend she did not seem herself, Richard took her into Salisbury and asked her Oncology Doctor to check her blood! Ellie had relapsed! Chemo started straight away in Southampton to get her into remission! January 16th 2014 - Ellie was admitted into Bristol Children's Hospital to undergo a Bone Marrow Transplant! One week of checks and Total Body Irradiation Elie had her transplant on Friday 24th January 2014. After 5weeks of isolation Elie was released from Bristol Children's Hospital on Tuesday 4th March 2014. After months of checkups we took everything for granted that all was ok until a routine blood test on Wednesday 8th October 2014 when it showed Elie had once again relapsed! Ellie is now with her parents in Sheffield for new treatment in hope this will get her into remission and we will go to Bristol once again for another transplant!
