Shaye was a 10 year old Corgi girl who suffered from pancreatitis. Sadly, she passed away soon after we received her application, but her Corgi Mom still needs help with the bill.

June 13, 2014

Happy Friday, Pals! It's time to debut our newest client of the Helping Paws campaign. Meet Shaye! Here's what Corgi Mom Marge sent to me in late May:

"I have a very sick 10 year old female tri pem who has been hospitalized since Sunday and required emergency surgery for a bile duct obstruction which required removal of her gallstone and gallbladder. She also may have pancreatitis and is still requiring intensive care. To date expenses have reached over $4,000 and we anticipate close to another $1,000.00 before she recovers. We were able to come up with the first $600.00 and have had to put the rest so far to date on my 92 year old mother's credit card. It has created a financial burden on us but we want our girl Shaye well and back home."

It is with a heavy heart that we must pass along the news that Shaye passed away soon after we received Marge's application paperwork. Please keep Marge in your thoughts and prayers, as this has been very hard on her.

We have set her fundraising goal to $3,300 to cover the cap plus PayPal/Fundrazr fees. Please spread the word for this beautiful girl so we can get her the help she needs!
