In 2019, Saint Louis University created a first of its kind online brewing certificate program in conjunction with STLBEER and the Greater St. Louis brewing community. Courses were designed in partnership with local industry experts and are taught by these same local pros.
Now we are asking for your help in making this new program as accessible as possible for potential students coming from populations currently under represented in the brewing industry by helping to offset some of the cost of tuition.
The entire brewing industry benefits by becoming a more diverse and inclusive community. Please join STLBEER and the St. Louis Brewers Heritage Foundation in raising funds to establish a perpetual endowment to offer scholarships and financial aid opportunities for students to attend the Brewing Science and Operations Certificate Program at Saint Louis University.
For just a minimum of $25,000 raised, a permanent endowment can be
created that will spin off financial aid for students every year, in
perpetuity. The more money we can raise over time above and beyond the
necessary minimum goal of $25,000 will only increase the amount of aid
made available each year. Our longterm plan is to continue to solicit
donations to add to this endowment as part of an ongoing
campaign...but first we have to hit that minimum to get up and going!
