My Story

I first volunteered for Camp Casco at Overnight Camp 2024. Throughout my week at camp, I got to meet some amazing kids and saw first-hand the impact Camp Casco has in their lives. After the life changing week, I knew I wanted to stay involved in this organization and wanted to do what I could to help. This hike gives me the opportunity to reach out to others to join me in supporting the kids of Camp Casco.

Climbing For A Cause

Hiking the tallest peak in the Northeast is no small feat. Known for its incredible views of the White Mountains and its reputation for “the world’s worst weather,” this 8-mile round-trip challenge is one of New Hampshire’s most iconic adventures.

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, our Summit Seekers team will ascend Mount Washington in honor of National Cancer Survivors Day. Each hiker has pledged to raise at least $1,000 to help send a child to a life-changing week at Camp Casco, where kids impacted by cancer rediscover the joys of childhood. Together, we’re turning each step into a step toward joy, friendship, and hope for kids who need it most.

Transforming Lives For Kids Like Ellie

At Camp Casco, kids like Ellie, a longtime Camp Casco Camper, who’ve faced unimaginable challenges experience something extraordinary: a week of laughter, adventure, and connection with peers who truly understand. Her dad shares:

"Ellie always comes back from Camp Casco sessions feeling confident and valued as the counselors and staff are so present with her. She forms such strong bonds with the counselors in such a short time and raves about her experiences as soon as she gets in the car to head home."

Your support makes this possible. Every donation funds Camp Casco’s transformational summer camps, which provide:
