My name is Jaclyn and my brother George’s dog Denali was rushed to the animal ER because he could not urinate. He strained so hard to pee that he caused a hernia. He was suddenly dripping blood instead of urine. He was panting and having trouble breathing. He vomited three times and seemed like he was in a lot of pain.

The vet says he has many bladder stones and this can block his urethra making him unable to pee. He is now admitted at Tufts and needs surgery to remove the stones from his bladder. He is getting IV fluids, antibiotics and pain medication. He required immediate stabilization. The vet expects a full recovery, but estimates the cost between $4000-5000. My brother works at my family’s shop and isn’t able to afford this on his own. Denali means the world to us and without surgery he will go into kidney failure and die in pain. If you know him you know he is the sweetest doggie ever! Any contribution you can make to help us help Denali is greatly appreciated. Help us save our boy!
