Articles Under Revision

With the release of our new support center, we are revising old and outdated support articles. There may be information on this page that is outdated.

If you have any questions, you can reach out to our customer support team directly for assistance. This can be done by placing a ticket with the Support button in the bottom right corner of your screen.

Do you need to raise, lower or remove your campaign’s goal?

This page will show you how. Before you continue, which kind of campaign did you create?

  • Keep It All (This type of campaign does not require a goal)
The goal on a campaign using our “Keep it all” Funding method can be edited or removed at any time before the campaign launches or while it’s still active. Once a Keep it All campaign has been Finished, the goal can no longer be edited or removed.

  • All Or Nothing (This type of campaign does require a goal)
The goal on a campaign using our “All or nothing” Funding method can be changed at any time before the campaign receives it’s first contribution. Once an All Or Nothing campaign has received it’s first contribution, the goal can no longer be edited.

To edit your goal:

Go to your campaign’s Edit page, then click the Funding & Deadline tab and you’ll see your goal near the top of the screen. Just type in the new goal and click Save Changes

To remove your goal:

Go to your campaign’s Edit page, then click the Funding & Deadline tab and you’ll see your goal near the top of the screen. Remove the goal and click Save changes.

Important: When removing your goal, do NOT type in the number zero (0) or the system will think you still want a goal and you’ll see an error message telling you the goal needs to be at least $5. You have to actually take the existing goal out and leave the field empty.
