The Newest Story: A Home for Four Generations

Meet Mauviette Borgella and Jean Claude Alexander, and their granddaughter, Yelica, and her baby, Yeili. This remarkable family spans generations, united by love and resilience in the Dominican Republic.

They dream of a safe, sturdy home where grandparents, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren can live together in dignity. With your help, that dream is within reach.

Kim Hamilton’s famous caramel apples are once again making miracles happen—raising funds to provide doors, windows, and shelter for families like theirs.

Their rented home, where they are now living (and have difficulty paying rent),is in terrible condition and floods every time it rains (very often).  

With no space inside the home, the "kitchen" extends to outdoors. 

Sadly, they only have one bed for four people.
