In recent years, we have seen a concerning rise in attacks targeting LGBTQ+ communities, which has made it increasingly difficult for individuals to access life saving care they need. This reality is especially true for gender diverse individuals who face significant healthcare disparities, including a lack of access to healthcare services, stigma, and discrimination. These challenges are often rooted in a lack of adequate medical training for healthcare providers, which can create barriers to care and ultimately impact health outcomes.

To address these disparities, OutCare Health is working to promote awareness, provide up-to-date training and education, and increase affirmation in care for LGBTQ+ people. OutCare's comprehensive online health resource identifies LGBTQ+ affirming providers and resources for the public, making it easier for LGBTQ+ people to access the care they need.

The volunteer efforts of OutCare's incredible team and Board of Directors have enabled the organization to grow and identify thousands of providers and public resources across the country. However, as the organization continues to expand its reach, expenses are growing, and support from donors is needed to ensure that OutCare can continue its mission as well as create new, meaningful, LGBTQ+ affirming initiatives and services.
