The Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund has been running our Adopt-a-School campaign for a decade now.
This last year has been a challenging one, and we know that the need for food security and other basic living necessities for many British Columbia children and their families is greater than ever.
We know that Vancouver Sun readers, who since 1981 have supported the fund’s charitable work and the programs that we provide to help needy children, will continue to help us improve this situation. We are grateful for that, and for the opportunity to make a difference.
Through a special COVID-19 Emergency Fund campaign and our regular fall campaign, last year we were able to disburse grants totalling $1.82 million to help our province's most impoverished children and youth.
When you donate to the Vancouver Sun Children's Fund, 100 per cent of your donation goes to to help children in need; there is no money taken from donations to cover administration costs.
