Scouting in Suffolk County has played an instrumental role in fostering youth development across the region. Spanning from Smithtown to Orient, the Benjamin Tallmadge District has remained dedicated to delivering an exceptional scouting program for both its young members and volunteers. For over a century, Scouting America has instilled ethical and moral values in individuals, guiding them throughout their lives. However, we now reach out to you for support.
The Suffolk County Council of Scouting is currently conducting a fundraising campaign aimed at enhancing our future programs, events, and operations. It is a true privilege to provide this vital program, and ensuring its continued success holds tremendous significance for me. Together, as a council, we are uniting our efforts through individual campaigns like this one, and we would be deeply honored if you choose to contribute to our fundraising goal. Every dollar raised will directly benefit the Suffolk County Council, allowing us to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders.

Scouting provides our youth with the foundations needed for leadership, service, good citizenship, strong moral behavior and a healthy work ethic - so that they not only positively contribute to society but are adequately prepared for whatever challenges come their way.

Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Exploring, Venturing and Sea Scouts, there's a Scouting program for everyone! Scouting teaches youth to unplug and explore the outdoors. Our programs encourages citizenship, builds confidence, teaches responsibility and resilience, and develops the leaders of tomorrow. The adventures a youth has in Scouting are some of the most valuable experiences of their lives. Scouting helps our youth to serve, to lead and to be Prepared. For Life. |  |
