Sweet Little Hamilton was found on someone's porch all alone and scared and was taken to the Maryville City Shelter. As you can see by his pics he has severe mange over 95% of his body and he also has a skin infection to go along with it. We think he is a Dachshund mix and all 22lbs of him are pure cuteness. Poor guy has obviously been neglected but with your help we'll get him through the long term mange treatment and back to health.

Did you know that anytime a sick or injured dog or cat like Hamilton ends up at the shelter the Blount County Humane Society picks them up and they are taken to the vet immediately? That's why our Good Samaritan Fund needs filling up... we do this quite often and vet care isn't cheap. But this is all part of our No Kill commitment to the shelter pets of our community... and we take this lifesaving commitment seriously.

Hamilton is a great example of our dedication to shelter pets that need our help to heal and get adopted, and we can't help Hamilton without your generous support. So please donate to Hamilton's Good Samaritan fund so we can get him the care he needs, and so we are prepared for the next deserving critter just like Hamilton that ends up at the shelter in a world of hurt. Don't worry if you can't give a big amount, any size donation really helps. Donate as much as you can and Hamilton will really appreciate it... Please share Hamilton's story and let's fill up his Good Samaritan Fund in 10 days... Come on now and get those donations rolling in and we can all be sweet little Hamilton's Hero...  Thanks! ^..^~
