This project aims to raise funds to create merchandise for Wellington
Rabbit Rescue, using the range of 'Secret Lives of Rabbits' designs by
Cat Drayer of Copper Catkin. If the campaign is successful, and we can
fund the printing costs for our merchandise items, the remaining items
will continue to be sold to raise awareness of the plight of abandoned
pet rabbits in New Zealand, with particular focus on the Wellington region.
Wellington Rabbit Rescue, or WRR, is a fairly new initiative run
by two dedicated young women, Zoe and Chrissy, to help save abandoned,
unwanted, sick, and injured pet rabbits, and find new and loving homes
for them. Since September 2015, they have re-homed over 100 rabbits
(103 at last count, but it changes all the time). Rabbits make great
pets but they are also a big commitment. Did you know that their
lifespan is similar to that of a cat or dog?

Wellington Rabbit Rescue has teamed up with local designer Cat Drayer to make the merchandise items. Through her new design business, Copper Catkin, Cat has donated time, money, and artwork to help with the cause.
In order to afford the initial minimum outlay to produce items like
teatowels, mugs, tote bags, and postcards from the designs, we have
made a crowd funding campaign via Fundrazr, which aims to raise money
to pay for the initial printing costs for our merchandise products.
The incentive prices do not include postage unless otherwise
stated - we will contact you for shipping costs once the campaign
ends, or you can add the estimated amount on to your incentive at the
time.

Wellington, NZ, we can arrange it :)

We have very kindly been donated this beautiful Earthenware Ceramic Bowl made by Wellington based artist Mia Hamilton to help us raise funds. Mia recently exhibited at the NZ art show and has exhibited widely through NZ and Australia she has also been a finalist in the Portage Ceramic Awards. Bowl measures 35.5cm in diameter and is 16.5cm tall. Inscription reads 'she went out of the room and down the steps into the rain leaving them there together' Due to the fragile nature of this object it cannot be posted.
