We are the WCU Ballroom Dance Club - a passionate group of student dancers. From waltz to cha-cha, we train year-round to represent Western Carolina University at ballroom competitions across the region.
This year, we plan to attend at least six ballroom competitions, but we need your help to make it happen. As a student-led club, we rely on the generosity of our community to help cover travel costs, registration fees, hotels, costumes, and professional instruction.
Your donation directly supports our dancers' ability to compete, grow, and proudly represent WCU. Every dollar brings us one step closer to the competition floor.

Each member needs at least two outfits: one for smooth dances and one for rhythm. These, along with required dance shoes, can be quite costly.
This season, we're aiming to attend several competitions where we'll showcase our skills, compete with pride, and grow as dancers. As we prepare, one essential element we need is proper costumes to help us shine on the competition floor. Presentation matters, the right attire brings professionalism and confidence to every performance.
Your donation will go directly toward helping our dancers look and feel their best on stage.
Before this opportunity, each of our members was responsible for covering their travel expenses to competitions, all organized by our club officers. But now, we have the chance to reach out and ask for your support in helping us get there together.
Your donation will go toward covering gas and other transportation costs for our members. Our ultimate goal is to raise enough funds to rent a travel bus, so we can attend competitions as a team.
Our goal is to fund the hotel stays for our team during this year's ballroom competitions. These competitions are essential for us to showcase our skills, represent our college, meet others who share our love of dance, and learn from professionals.
Every donation helps us secure a place to rest, recharge, and prepare to perform at our best. In the past, we have opted for cheaper hotels, often located in the bare minimum range of the event. This year, our goal is to stay at the hotels where our competitions are being held, so we can be more at ease when preparing.
