Together, all of our actions matter

Your donation today will help end cancer inequities

This 4th February, cyclists around the world will unite through the

World Cancer Day Solidarity Challenge to raise awareness and funds for the global fight against cancer.

World Cancer Day Solidarity Challenge is one of the biggest virtual cycling fundraisers, bringing together over 60,000 cyclists and some of the top names in sport and entertainment, to support the cancer community around the world. With COVID-19 disrupting and delaying essential cancer services, this support is needed now more than ever.

Whether you're racing or cheering from the sidelines, your donation will help the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to achieve its goal of ending cancer inequities and ensuring everyone has access to life-saving cancer treatment and care.

However much you give, every donation matters.

Donate today.

The time to act is now

Every year, over 9 million people die from cancer with over half of these deaths occurring in some of the least developed parts of the world. A lack of access to prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care means that many people are dying unnecessarily. Without urgent action, deaths from cancer are expected to rise to 13 million within the next decade.

As COVID-19 disrupts and delays essential cancer services around the world, this will only add to the growing cancer burden and place a further strain on individuals, families, communities and health systems.

However, we all have the power to make a difference. Though raising your voice and calling on governments to support and fund prevention, detection and treatment programmes in every country for everyone, you can help to save millions of lives.

Your money will help support the fight against cancer

Funds raised from the World Cancer Day Solidarity Challenge will benefit the Union for International Cancer Control in supporting the global cancer community.

With close to 1,200 member organisations in almost every country in the world, UICC unites and strengthens the voices of the international cancer community, ensures cancer remains a priority on the global health agenda, and through opportunities like training and fellowships, gives cancer professionals the best chance of doing a better job tomorrow than they already do today.
