Happy Hanukkah Friends!
It's Bronwen and Nicole, founders of the Rabbinic Arts Company (R-Arts). We've been hard at work this year, beginning development on a new piece for the stage and rolling out our 2nd Cohort of Rabbinic Arts Fellows, a group of super talented, female-identified and non-binary performance+ artists engaged in deep rabbinic learning, community building, and creation of work based on our inherited Jewish texts.
Right now, we're packing our bags, making last minute preparations,
and printing out materials for our in-person residency in the Catskill
Mountains. There, along with the Rabbinic Arts Fellows, we'll dive
even deeper into our text, using rabbinic and theatrical modalities to
create new works of performance Midrash to
expand and excite our Jewish canon. 
This year's theme is Truth. And the truth is that we could really use your help making these programs happen and keeping the flames of creation burning. Our upcoming residency will just about drain the bank and we've got a lot planned for 2026, including continued learning with the Rabbinic Arts Fellows, a summer residency, and getting our new show workshop ready. The cost of olive oil is up and we've got candles burning on all ends!
Throughout Hanukkah we'll be running a fundraising campaign. Our goal is to raise $8,000 over the 8 nights of Hanukkah.
