About Memphis Rox
Opened in March 2018, Memphis Rox Climbing + Community is a pay-what-you-can climbing and community center in Soulsville, South Memphis - a community in Memphis that has been historically underserved. Our mission is to empower youth and their support structures by providing a safe and inclusive space for recreation, exercise, outdoor adventures, job opportunities, job training, and essential resources.
We offer a remarkable 32,000 square feet of indoor climbing, a 5,000 square-foot fitness area as well as fitness & yoga classes, a youth climbing team, and a juice bar serving affordable and healthy meals. Our campus also houses a low-cost sundry store, access to counseling, an educational food garden, an after-school program, and many other community service and outreach programs.
