Beaverton Education Foundation has already provided $500 in matching contributions. The campaign has now finished.
You can help reinforce Mountain View P.R.I.D.E. (Personal Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Embracing Community) with support for high-interest items in the school’s Joy Center. Items are purchased by students with PBIS Rewards, an online platform that allows staff to acknowledge students for showing strong positive characteristics.
This is year we are really leaning into acknowledging our students hard work and positive behaviors. The Joy Center is one way we are building a positive community among our staff and students after a hard year back from COVID.
Initially, the school stocked the Joy Center with school supplies to get every student set up for success. Now, we want our store to have variety and offer items our students want and are directly related to students’ basic needs, health and wellness. We have already received requests for water bottles, stickers, Pokemon cards and squishes.

Founded in 1988, the Beaverton Education Foundation raises money to provide hands-on innovative academic enrichment and advancement programs & projects that go beyond normal school funding at all Beaverton public schools and is a 501(c)(3) community-based nonprofit organization. BEF mobilizes community resources to fund innovative classroom projects, summer and after-school programs.
