We miss having students in our schools. Our students and staff miss the connections and relationship-building made through face-to-face learning.

BEF has created a new fund in the wake of the unprecedented COVID-19 outbreak. The BEF Learning Innovation Fund for Teachers and Students  - LIFTS will support all staff as they explore, develop, and implement creative ways to engage with students and keep Beaverton students inspired, innovating, and successful.

BEF will continue to serve all 53 Beaverton schools and work to impact every student’s education. In these uncertain times, we will do our best to provide additional resources so that every child feels healthy, engaged, challenged and supported while they are away from school and once school begins again - in whatever form and on whatever timeline that means.

The Beaverton community is dynamic and caring.  The Foundation, with our community’s investment, stands ready to support the work ahead to keep our children growing and learning, now and far into the future.

ISC Music Matters Getting instruments to the special education students of Beaver Acres Elementary to continue their learning and expression through the love of music!

Third Grade Poets Supporting their artist-in-residence to continue her tradition of poetry lessons with the third graders of Raleigh Park Elementary.

Books @Home for William Walker Getting the right level of books at home for the students of William Walker to keep reading and learning during this critical stage of reading development.

School Supplies for mobile learning! Pens, paper, lap desks, pencils and sharpeners to go with them - the LIFTS campaign is helping students with basic school supplies so they can work at home.

Books for Rock Creek Rocket Readers! We're using about $700 of the funds to buy books from locally-owned Powell's Used Book Stores.
