As a newly-hired music teacher at Kinnaman, I am excited to build a program that inspires students for decades to come. One foundation for a healthy music program is having access to high-quality, beautiful-sounding instruments. While Kinnaman has some equipment already available, we need many more African drums and percussion instruments for a our children to play together in a community setting. Kinnaman musicians will be able to experience music lessons similar to other Beaverton children receive if we are able to increase the number of drums and percussion instruments available to our students. Quality instruments are expensive! Supporters like you will make an impact on hundreds of lives over decades of time, as an investment in instruments lasts a lifetime. We will happily share videos of our music-making with you if we fund our goal!
