Supporting Give Life Alberta - Week 4 Total -$1,600 Raised! Thank you!
Kathleen joined the June Dresses movement shortly after its inception in 2012 - originally a fundraising to charitable causes that help to empower women. Over the years, she advocated for many local charities. As her and her brother entered their cancer journeys, the causes were broadened to other causes involving Healthcare and cancer treatment.
Kathleen's cancer journey sadly ended with her passing November 3rd of 2024. With her (and our) loss, a patient in need was gifted sight through Kathleen's tissue donation.
Friends and family agree that we should continue to honour her wishes to continue fundraising annually for just causes to empower those in need.

This year, to celebrate the potential life changing or saving donations of organs or tissue, our June Dresses donations will go to Give Life Alberta via the University Hospital Foundation.
